In 2010, after a persistent college student continued to ask for private tutoring, Tricia began her individual tutoring business. Through word-of-mouth recommendations, Tricia’s scope of math tutoring grew from college students to public schools, charter schools, and homeschool communities.

Convinced there is no such thing as “math people and non-math people”, Tricia helps students build confidence in their understanding of foundational math concepts. She is a strong proponent for growth mindset and understands the necessity of productive struggle when learning. Tricia tutors students in a way that is unique to their learning style. She has a special ability to make math understandable and help students learn they can do math.
